Its been a great ride and I am betting on, along with Vlad that it still has a lot more to give in the coming years and in my opinion with or without acquisitions. Yes the dips are unavoidable but the smarts will buy in when they see the value. Personally I cannot see it falling below the low $9's in the coming weeks, a near 1% return on your money in just a few weeks will be too irresistible for the smart money. I also recently found out that those holding shorts of loan shares still have to payout the dividend to the lenders, so I presume a lot will close out before the ex-dividend date, this might cause a little spike. The upside to the shorts are the increasing volume of shares traded, this may allow DDR exposure to an ASX 300 entry in September which will allow super investors like myself to trade directly into DDR.
