Notice how AUSTRAC have sidestepped their responsibility to action the thousands of suspect transactions reports the CBA did send to AUSTRAC. For years the CBA Have dutifully sent in hundreds of thousands of suspicious transaction reports to AUSTRAC. I know, I've worked for the ATO and have been privy to them. Once the transaction reports are sent to the ATO, ASIC, the Federal Police, Customs, the crimes commission and state police , its up to the Agenices to act within the restraints of their budget. There is probably a 1000 loosely organised criminal and corporate outfits operating in Australia on any given day. AUSTRAC is full of lawyers, covering their butts, when it hit the fan, they've decided to blame their source, pathetic, grandstanding to their political masters, who loved a free kick on the CBA. Think about it.
