Business is Business what they're doing is smart on paper. Squeeze out the competition now ramp up production to be the last man standing and after the battle is over the price increases will start (BIG TIME).....what they may have failed to realise is the impact of their strategy on Gov't revenues / jobs etc etc. As big as they are - not good to upset the State and Federal Governments of the day.............
But don't think for a second the big boys would come to the "rescue" white knight" any of the struggling mid tiers.
