Good to see the shorts covering...

Two big trades that may have been short covering trades:

Yesterday morning - 1.5 million shares traded at $2.25

This afternoon at 3.39 pm - 200,000 shares traded at $2.44

That's two decent sized trades - $3.375 million (overseas cross trade) and a $488,000 trade today.

And looks like we got a $2.45 close which is nice to see...

Waiting for a decent quarterly to come out this week to see some more short covering which should get DOM shares back up to somewhere nearer to fair value. They were manipulated to their recent low of $2.15 on no news from the company...

It is ridiculous that a 100,000 ounce/ year producer with no debt, minimal hedging, 103 million shares on issue and a gold price at $1330 AU an ounce has a share price of $2.45. The big capital spending has mostly been completed and cashflow is still excellent...You even get a dividend with DOM.

Have to go back to the "GFC" in (July 2008 - November 2008) to buy DOM at these prices. Gold was selling at that time for less than $1,000 AU an ounce and everyone was selling their shares in a panic...

Also if you go back a bit further there was about a month in April 2007 that you could buy at these prices too. That is over 3 years ago and the gold price then was only $800 an ounce!

I believer these shares were manipulated down by High Frequency Traders to levels well below their fair value and on NO NEWS. Go figure!

There is a difference between price and value...
