That is a long term investment these days. Do you ever question the "buy and hold" strategy though?
It seems to me that investors have been tested as to if they really believe in "buy and hold" in recent years...
I guess holding for a long time has paid off for you and your return on investment with the dividends DOM pays would be great - especially if income is what you require.
I really favor the concept of "buy and hold" but I am finding that markets are so volatile that investors who buy fundamentally strong companies are being forced to be speculators otherwise they end up losers - especially if you started out investing in the past 5-10 years.
How do you watch your initial investment double, triple and more and then halve back down or more? That is what you have had to watch since 1992...
