It looks like there are elements of short covering for Orocobre in the market at the moment. We are probably at peak pessimism for Lithium right now, and along with the negative stock market sentiment, now would be a perect time imo to get out of long held short positions.
Mr Trump needs a win, and he sees the Stock Market as a guage of his success. December is usually a positive month for stocks, and nobody likes going into Christmas with a negative sentiment.
I firmly believe that Trump will defer or water down the tariff's due to be implemented on Dec 15th, and the market will be off to the races again.
Great time to top up if you believe in the EV story imo.
