I find it interesting that you discuss a price “if general market conditions stay well.”
Surely the price will reach whatever it finally reaches if the company and its management perform well and above expectations ?
I have seen numerous persons “willing “a share price up to a certain cut off point; RHC has been a company with a good earnings history and yet it has taken a fall. CSL is no different. Irrespective of “general market conditions” CSL will be required to perform to expectations in its own area of excellence and expertise, if the current PE and price is to be maintained. Whilst we will probably look back in the years to come, at the $250.00 price in retrospect, a lot can happen along the way including for some reason that we may not see coming, a significant fall in the share price.
The share price in the future will represent not only investors expectations, but also the success of the company in meeting sales and profit figures etc etc. but it can also go down.............
