from what I understand the buying back does not register at all
(until 4 days later when it becomes apart of the NET figures published)
hence why in your scenario the 220k with 200k covered still registers as 220k gross for T1,t2,t3
That being said given how illiquid WBT is, the shorts and short covering are both very amplified and looking at the candles on the chart my belief is that they still have a very large open short position.

how much interest/fees are charged on a short position anyways? Is there a standard rate?
