If you reread my post you will see that I agree with you in theory. But I am suggesting the shorters and the lenders may engage in some kind of shortcut process that enables positions to be closed without a massive buy on market and a consequent move of the share price.
I don’t know but I strongly suspect there are dirty deeds being done at the cost of retail shareholders.
