Fair call, though I don't think you've fully appreciated the damage the tariffs have done or will do, even if they are "bs".
US reputation is shot the world over. They have voted a conman and felon into their highest point of office. Allowed a non-governmental employee to gut essential services who shares prolific lies with the head conman. Any claims of "savings" varies daily, and projections wildly taper off, like every other claim the administration makes. And this will likely do untold long-term damage to that country. Crime is being enabled and facilitated through dump and pumps, pump and dumps, crypto meme coins, etc. This is a country that is facilitating the power consolidation of oligarchs. They are omitting educated immigrants pushing the boundaries of knowledge in some of the most credentialled universities in the world. Significant damage is being and has been done.
The world is looking to stop following the US, this is happening on many fronts. Our country voted against that similar rhetoric just recently.
