Absolutely, and you raise a very good point which is worth expanding on....
As you mentioned, the feedstock at Meckering is of higher grade than Altech initially anticipated, this in turn led to the HPA production upgrade from 4000tpa to 4500tpa.
Logically, what most of assumed at the time of the production upgrade announcement (15 Sep), was that the extra 500tpa of finished product would require an equivalent increase in kaolin mined, containerised and then shipped from Meckering to be processed over in Johor. NOT the case! We are in effect getting the extra 500tpa of product for likely no extra expense in mining, containerising and shipping!
What a windfall! This will most certainly help to offset the significantly increased factory construction CAPEX (as previously announced).
