The latest ASIC report shows short interest at 7.57%. It looks as though short interest has hovered around the 7-9% level for a while now.
Could someone please explain to me the investment rationale for shorting NXT? (either as a new short here or maintaining a short position). Insights into industry structure and positioning would be useful and balance sheet & cash flow positioning until profitability useful also.
I hold stock and am reconsidering my position ahead of the next result.
Also, any insights as to level of shorts for hedging purposes, eg hedge against NXT debt, vesting staff share etc
