If 57m were outstanding before today, and all 57m got covered in the CR, that would mean the controlling parties took up very little and I would bet strongly that’s not the case. I would go as far as saying that the company would actively ensure the short parties got little to no stock.

Even if say 10m got covered, that will mean we see a sharp drop in shorts (reported four days following completion) which in itself is a very bullish sign and will certainly put pressure on the remaining positions to close.

Shorts are definitely coming out...DB as stock custodian returned some stock borrow in today's substantial holder notice, on behalf of a hedge fund....plus they sold even more shares in March. Not sure if they were acting for just one fund though
