Very few shorts by day traders are overnight or long. Most are in and out multiple times a day.It cost extra a hefty fee to hold shorted shares overnight.I also think daytrading shares like Lyc is chart driven or exuberance.Many shares in REE and Lithium volitility is like clock work, on any good news new retail investers pile in and by 11am it is settled down. Most REE and Lithium shares dont really trade to P/E (for producers) or strict fundametal NPV valuation.
