I do keep reading about capital management in books by successful traders...I am still looking for the book which mentions getting lucky despite lousy capital management.. or maybe I could mend my ways.
I am not doing too badly in shares, I just seem to get in and sell too early, maybe I'll time the spec boom end of the materials cycle better - it is still ahead of us (though AUM may have signalled the start).
I've nearly made my fortune several times even so - held 150k of BSG for 3 years - (sold at 30c to buy a kitchen for the missus, then told her we could have bought a whole house), made some good money from Anvil (and still holding some), EXT, and LYC.
