You might want to check a few facts on unemployment benefit, and the definition of hardship in super.

Mining has collapsed since the GFC. Is it a correction or is it over? Don't know.

Manufacturing is comotosed.

Retail is extremely hard.

If, and it is an if rates get away - what else can you have but more unemployment?

And I suspect if it happened - it would take a big jump, because business would capitulate finally.

In that environment, anything could happen - but, least of all - rising prices including rents. Penetrating the floor would be more the case.
