"Asciano was granted relief by ASIC from preparing FY07 statutory accounts. A condition of this relief is that it must prepare its first half year report as if it were a full financial year. The Asciano 31 December 2007 half year report will be fully audited, comply with applicable accounting and auditing standards and include all disclosures required in a full year statutory report. To allow Asciano Ltd time to satisfy the additional reporting requirements ASIC has granted an extension for release of half year reporting to 12 March 2007."
