buffet, agree with you on IPL being a great short term play. Also agree that share splits have in the past mostly resulted in a company's share price appreciating. Then only apprehension I have is that this split although having the potential to become immeditely beneficial is occurring during a bear market. CSL's split occurred during a Bull Market & resulted in immediate rewards. Then again I have been wrong in the past. Thanks too for your great summary of the numerous positives for IPL.
