Well one thing seems apparent ---
Congo needs to encourage mining companies --- Not plunder them as for initial demands of Government Contract Review.

The Review needs to be dismantled - in accordance with previous posts on HC which have confidently predicted no damage likely for Anvil.

Slowing down of new mines and holding off of others is actually a positive for Anvil for obvious reasons.

Big dump of Anvil shares on TSX last night to record lows.
Finished under Au$2.00.

Bad market day combined with poor - low production, minor problems in quarterly report which is no doubt in the hands of insiders/institutions is likely reason for the dumping.
Little resistance to the dump because of all the contributing factors presented in a previous post.

The only question at the moment is ---

Will Anvil share price drop to $1.00 before recovery.

Will share price bounce back - to some extent - in April/May 2009?
