So if you borrow 10K shares from an insto
I assume there is a fee payable to do so.
Then you sell at say 48.5 cents which will attract a brokerage fee.
You make $100 dollars for every cent if the price drops
You will then pay more brokerage when you buy
You will also pay CGT if you make a profit
Good luck if BRN drops a bombshell
