Well at even the most surface level that is not correct, because you command a huge premium for being an industry leader In a new tech space, whereas oil and resources etc is the opposite. Ever heard of a company called afterpay? Leading in a tech space, and while there are many entrants now they command huge multiples on a company not yet making profits. And of course with the square buyout: there are premiums for m&a appetite out there for techs.
