I could have this all wrong so don't abuse me for doing so but I have a niggling suspicion about the number of short positions still on Lynas so close to this milestone of an announcement.
Someone noted late last week that there were still 200 million! Yet I have not been able to locate that number and going by the ASX(http://www.asx.net.au/data/shortsell.txt) there is only over a million.
To have 200 million seems extraordinary to say the least...is that how many CAN be shorted or does it mean that they have been shorted and are waiting to be covered.
If its the latter then we have some major problems and that is putting it mildly. If they haven't exited at this time then they must know something that we don't and Lynas must have a few leaks.
