    That question of yours that you have just raised, was answered by someone previously already.

    While no trading is allowed when a Company is in a Trading Halt, the shorters are allowed to cover and move/alter their shorted stock all along. For, if they didn't, how on earth could they cover their current positions if they were not allowed to trade and do so.
    Short positions are only valid for a short period of time, and they will have to be covered either by buying on market, or by borrowing shares from a willing lender, REGARDLESS !!.

    Trading Halts do not stops these activities. To put it simply, they can't. For, if they did, it would make a mockery of the rules set up by ASIC.

    As such, there was no need to raise any flags at the time, because AISC knew all along what was going on.
