hi leap,

done up a couple charts on ALK for you

for a new position to the north I'd be waiting for it to clear this 'trading range' with a SOS and then possibly/hopefully backtest the top of the range with a nice 'test/no supply' looking bar and only then buy the next bullish bar after that

if it doesn't clear the high of the range, well no damage done and would have to re-evalute it again if it broke south

included the weekly chart which imo helps to smooth out and see easily what's going on, clears all the daily dramas out of the way, but would still be using the daily for spotting the entry/exit
