BRU avoided just that by making a placement to Coogee the last CAP raise.
They are a cornerstone investor so forget about them being short.
I mean why do a 75 cent placement then short.
That's how BRU got around the shorters this time in.
Hats off to them for that.
Probably and this is my theory, These shorts are coming from accounts with brokers whose clients are in the red.
Brokers can lend out any shares whose clients are not in credit and the way the SP has been going and not only from BRU accounts but the whole ASX in general there would be many in the red.
Our market is going backwards because we are commodity driven.
Plenty are losing hence plenty of shares to lend out.
