ACX has had a fair bit of short activity over the past 2-3...

ACX has had a fair bit of short activity over the past 2-3 weeks....

In total there have been 223,009 ACX shares shorted since the 17th August.

Here's the interesting thing, we have had the worst conditions in the market since probably the GFC and there has been minimal selling volume under $3.80 which was the book build price and with the SP currently holding that level firmly I don't know how much more down side there is left in ACX.....

My gut feel is that if there is any dip convincingly below $3.80 it will be short lived because I reckon some of these shorters would be getting quite nervous with the strength ACX is showing.....

ACX is a rather strong and stable stock to be shorting with lower volatility than even the banks but with the growth of a CSL.....

I would be careful about shorting any ACX to be honest..... could be quite a squeeze if ACX continues to find solid support around these levels....
