Yes there are competitors about but to give you an example of the difference between ACX and their nearest competitor, ACX's annual spend on developing and further enhancing their software suite is more than their nearest competitors annual revenue....

I attended the recent AGM and spoke with the directors and Rob said to me that when they won the Roy Hills project they actually didnt win the contract initially, a competitor was first chosen because they were cheaper 1/5th of the price or something..... 600k versus $3m for aconex.... In the end they ended up ditching the competitors software because it was quite difficult to use and the level of support is second to none with Aconex..... Also when a project is worth say billions it makes little sense to risk all that just because there is a cheaper software going around.

Anyway it gives me great confidence that the largest construct firms around the globe choose and more importantly trust Aconex...
