I had to check the data twice , but it appears that a tick over 2 million shares or 29% of the float yesterday was short sold - the short sale numbers in the last few weeks have been through the roof. 26% of the companies outstanding shares are short sold vs around 9% for KCN and 6% for PRU. Early in July around 10% of the companies float was short sold.

Some entity seriously wants to stop NCM from closing north of $41....short term this play is very interesting......
