I thought I should start a new thread to support shareholders that are questioning the short sellers that are attempting to manipulate the market on announcments or other for ARU:

For your interest currently ARU has 47.5M shares short ( as of 29/3/23). That is $23M on the sidelines. Effectively meaning that these shares are required to be purchased at some point in the future leading to an increase in demand and potential share price increase. This is 2.25% of all ARU shares are required to be purchased back increasing the demand for shares.

As a case study, have a look at LTR, on the day that the share price shot up by circa $1, the short sales decreased from 9% of the companies shares down to 6%. Hanging the shorters out to dry.

FYI: The last three trading days the ARU share shorts have been circa 1.2M, 1.2M, and 500k...Tomorrow will be interesting, to see what today was actually real and what is actually short. Noting that short sales snow ball genuine sales.

The benefit of short sales, is they have to be re-purchased at some point in time.
