Interesting info from Cheesepope on the 18th

I note, there are far more shares trade daily than the net broker positions.

Here the net buying and selling is around 3m shares net buying and 3m shares net selling, over the 4 days, yet the total volume was over 16.5m

Todays volume was 14m, does that imply only around 2.5m of net selling and buying, and the rest is computer program trading --- maybe UBS and commsec with this form of short term trading ?

One decent insto buying, would at least make them try and front run on the upside and not the opposite , which appears to be happening now.
