Quite interesting statements.

Well in fact they just disappeared with some off market shenanigans. If you look at some shorting contracts that sometimes appear in announcements you can see there is an option to just pay out the contract at the current price.

I need to do some more research here and to correlate the actual % of short selling to stock price movement but my gut feeling is that when you have over 30% of stock shorted each day that the price may struggle.
I think it is much more complicated than both of us think.
