It looks to me like the agreements were made in 2009 and 2015 ,looking at Pro Capitalism's post earlier in this discussion, when NMT owned 70% of RIM so they would probably be exposed I suspect.
As you say lets hope it is settled and the uncertainty is removed. Lawyers picnic otherwise!
