I was on the shortsellers side until ASX started releasing the Daily Gross Reports. Now it seems shortsellers are staging planned attacks on specific stocks. I have also seen the case where a share price was heavily shortsold the day before an analyst downgrade and bought back the day of the downgrading. Too much of a coincidence for my liking.
