I don't mind short selling if its not combined with big players using bots to push the price down.
Traders just follow these big feeders around picking up a few scraps.
If it is such a great thing for all Ausralian companies why did they ban it at the height of the GFC.
I think because the ASX could see extra pressure being applied to Australian companies that they would not be able to survive through.
So a small number of non holders make money and the large number of solid holders lose.
WM is getting the (as I see it) cheaper floating shares out of the system.
I hope those that have shorted before keep doing so at a higher level.
They can make more and lose more.
As usual it will only have an effect on the smaller players and not the big boys.
You smaller ones use your own money.
