Interesting view of point. Short selling is an important part of the business. one is able to make money in both good and bad times. markets don't keep rising forever they have trends its nice to be able to long when a stock is rising and short when a stock is falling. I've been doing this business for a long time and for me shorting is as important as being able to go long.
