There was a time when bank stocks could not be shorted because of the GFC, but banks, as some of us know only too well, dictate political discourse. Only then do bought and paid for banking shills, having been given their marching orders, pretend to squabble, blatantly lie, before passing these dictates into law.

With miners it's different. As if discovering and building mining infrastructure isn't already time consuming nor capital and labor intensive enough, shareholders are faced with egregious price manipulation from these same vulturous banks, a PROTECTED SPECIES that receive bailouts and cash injections at the drop of a hat, on top of which stock prices are pummeled into the ground by these very same banks! Because of course, miners mine real money: banker/government (same entity) kryptonite!

There's a fecal stench to what has been happening to GOR and other gold stocks. And the banks have their grubby hands all over it. They would much rather shut down every gold mine than have to compete with real money.

At the end of the day, they will not have a choice in the matter. God and God's money will prevail.
