ItJust because a sale request is placed at the $1 it does not mean that is what they expect to get, but will place them at the front. The expected price is always available to see and say that is $1.10 your sale is assured to be completed.
I often do this with buys and sells to push myself in front of the market during the auction to make sure I get hit.
