Short selling cannot impact on or change the fundamental value of the firm. So if, in your mind, it 'drives down prices' and is 'market manipulation' then you would be steeping in a buying stocks which are subject to large shorting volumes. Given that you clearly seem to think they are artificially deflated.
Or you could winge about it on a forum...
