you really are out of touch here no pollution of beaches, no sewage problem an unemployment rate of just 0.2% with an average salary higher than australia's . i see no evidence of any more than normal fees taken by the greenland govt which is probably less than $100,000 . fishing will decline in importance yes and mining will become more important with two new mines this year and at least one in the next two years. as for the $600 million from the danes i have trouble with you understanding what happens to that and all the money raised by fishing and other industries here ,it all goes back to denmark for supplies. so if greenland becomes independant or party of the US the big financial looses are the danes
