I would be very surprised if there were many shorters who have entered for the first time around these prices. Most recent shorters are probably sitting on huge profits and figure they can gamble a bit of it for a second piece of the pie. Of course, that's all purely speculation but I do know that overall the upside is way in favour of the shorters, as opposed to the rest of us. I just find the idea that we are getting one back on the shorters because the price went up a few cents rather fanciful.
