My understanding about ETFs is there not allowed to loan out shares .
With regards to shorts in this sector PLS seems to be the lead atm and it's shorts although being maintained at around 21% have shifted their average my understanding is their around $4.10 now so if this is correct there won't be a short squeeze in PLS most other lithium targets shorts have been reducing their position well before the futures push .
I don't think ASN really felt any short attacks but mere felt the effects of sustained low liquidity this has happened before .
I do agree how ever that ASN is building for a huge run but it's for fundamentally good reasons that are long lasting not for the reasons stated above .
