I didn't read all your post but if KCN makes a profit from the operations in Thailand it would pay tax in Australia.
Therefore if it has accumulated losses i would have thought they would claim the losses as an offset against the profits.
I am pretty sure that is what LoveGod was hinting at, and it seems to make sense.
