I understand that the audited Australian corporate returns had claimed substantial depreciation with the construction of the mine and plant. This was written out when the mine was shut. Now that the mine is opened again then the depreciation will be written back into the corporate returns. As for the Thai tax I understand this has been the subject of the negotiations and has been reported on very favourably in the press relating to the last cabinet decision made in relation to KCN and another (I think) manganese mine. An 8 year tax holiday was the result from memory.
