if you look at the action at the end of June it looks like bets on an asx200 exit by the end of FY went sour and drove a cover of sorts, short lived as the asx200 removal had been delayed not avoided, which then reinstated short positions. Not sure where I saw it but many shorts expiring in Sept. Agree that accumulation is occuring and price is suppressed, this coincidence has lead a short attack which perversely suits the shorters. If instos are on both side of trade them I'm sure they have the mechanics to cover and accumulate. Time will tell. Just my thoughts
