Curious, does anyone know how much stock index funds have? I mean we're the smallest ASX200 entity making up a small % of the index. It depends on how many $'s in these types of funds I guess, but I'm not sure they have enough to cover all the shorts out there. That is, there seems to be more behind the scenes than index funds. Much more.... Maybe TO, but I'm also hearing some are waiting for a new CR to cover. Could be interesting as STX seems to have the funding in place for most things, so they could be squeezed at some point...? Sept is likely when they will have to cover, so interesting few months ahead perhaps.
