    Hi all,

    I attended the wa energy conference this week, on Friday morning on the panel debate had a AEMO person who is managing the transition to sustainability.

    word for word they said WA needs more peaking plants and gas supply over the coming 5-10 years to manage the coal coming offline and sure up reliability on the grid whilst more renewables come in…

    Peaking plant credits he spoke to and said they needed plants to by on standby for every minute, hr and day… said last week they had no wind, clouds and short days… was a nightmare for renewables…

    I think strike is on the money here with the peaking plant, expect we will be sanctioned here in coming months once credits are confirmed
