I would've been very surprised if the chart looked healthy after several months of short-selling and price suppression following positive announcements.
I'm skeptical about charting in general, but I imagine, for any of the pricing patterns chartists identify to be (somewhat) predictive, you need something approximating a 'normal/healthy' market.
