It is just my hypothesis, and I am capitalising on it by having more than doubled my holding in the last 3 months - essentially taking the other side of the shortsellers' trades. We will know whether this is true or not if...
(1) shorts increases till 20th Sept
(2) large cross trades at closing on 20th Sept
(3) short position for 20th Sept (reported on the 27th Sept) shows a large drop in short position
