Can anyone try to explain to me why MTS is consistently the most (or at least top 3) shorted ASX stock?
I understand the headwinds etc, but the debt is reducing at the moment to very manageable levels and its clearly a profitable business. Surely with the huge numbers of shorts, they would be worried about the effect when other shorts decide to close?!
To me its a double edge sword - in one breath it worries me (what am I missing?) but at the same time I feel like there is potential for a large rise when the shorts do cover....
