I assume shorts are viewing the balance sheet as a source of leverage (rights issue or placement).
I get the sense the Company has supportive lenders and would welcome others’ insights.
Why? Prepayment of debt and paying down RCF, whether voluntary or not, is a clear sign of sensible CFO seeking to appease lenders, Reasonably strong expectation of BIbyana proceeds almost certainly committed to banks. Risk is gold price falling which constrains debt repayment capacity. i judge that would push board to selling the Company or a fundraising.
